Make sure at least 55% of UK plastic is recycled compared to the current 30%.
I want it ensured that when we are told things are being recycled, they are recycled and not just a third of it is recycled. This gives people a false sense of hope that they are fighting climate change when in reality, NOTHINGS CHANGING!
Because we need to save our planet and all the renewable energy in the world isn't going to change the fact that if we don't act, plastic will be on the planet for 1000 years. The government has to increase the amount of plastic we use to at least 55%.
