The Driving Test

Additional Information

We, the undersigned, believe that one driving test is not sufficient to assess the standard of driving for new drivers, as a disproportionately large number of collisions, deaths and injuries occur within this group.
One or two further tests should be required at say 6 months/1 year and at say 2-5 years after the first. The exact details should be debated.
Failure to pass subsequent tests would require further training and testing within a set period of time, in most cases, rather than licence revocation.
