Parliament ~ remain ~ Royal
Power to Declare War should NOT be transferred to Parliament
The power to declare war should remain a royal prerogative and only usable by Her Majesty on the advice of her government.
This power should not be transferred to Parliament but should continue to be used in its current form,
To transfer the power to Parliament would easily endanger our national security, weak MPs could make the wrong decisions and decisive action could be complicated. Decisions must be made in times of national security quickly and directly. If MPs have the authority over the declaration of war then decisive action would be compromised.
The idea to transfer the power is a worthless tokenism which has no merit. It should not take place.
