Fight For April Jones
April Jones was murdered by a dangerous paedophile who had a catalogue of indecent child images on his computer.
We want a new law, under which internet search engines and service providers would pay a levy to fund the policing of the web.
This would stop paedophiles having access to such vile images and track the culprits down - helping protect our children.
In April's name we pledge our support to The Sun's campaign which is calling for:
-On-screen warnings for people who view child abuse images.
-‘Safe Search’ option as default setting to protect kids from pornography.
-Search engines and ISPs should fund policing of the internet while the government should invest in resources.
-Embrace ‘photo DNA’ technology to track child abuse images.
-Use technical expertise to identify people searching for illegal content.
