No War without public consent.
Over recent years we have become embroiled in wars by our government against our explicit consent, indeed against our will.
It is time the people of this nation had the right to veto our government involving us in any further wars without our approval by calling a free referendum to ask our permission.
This would not of course encompass acts of defence if we are attacked by foreign forces, only the instigation of military action without public consent.
