Failing mental health system must change
Its time for the failing systems in Mental Health to be addressed. Care provided in the community needs to reviewed, Care Co-ordinators failing to visit patients who are under their care. Crisis teams needs to be looked into regarding out of hours services. No-one to answer phones. The answer phone message In a time of crisis is not helpful to the patient who is seeking emergency help. In-patient care, ignorance and lack of compassion by mental health staff towards patients who are receiving treatment. Suicidal rates due to lack of professional assistance in times of crisis or in inpatient care are unexcitable. The Department of Health must review Mental Health Care and find the failings in the system. It's time for change.
