Conduct teacher training (inset days) during school holidays and reduce length of school holidays
The amount of weeks holiday that teachers get is disproportionate with other professions and impacts on children's schooling. Conducting training in school term times is also undefendable, especially considering the amount of weeks available to do training when schools are not open.
These practices are out of touch with modern day life and place extraneous financial burdons on parents in respect of childcare and holiday costs.
