Government charter on the press' rights
A charter to be agreed on by the press, put forth by the government, to be signed by the press on their conduct. As sometimes being '*in the public interest' is not a justifiable reason for false accusations and ruining peoples reputations. We would also like bigger statements/published material, of apologies to be made by the press in the future when the break the press code or possible future press charter, and a bigger fine to be implement on those who do as well. This e-petition has also been set up with the Leveson and such other inquiries in mind, of which their no resolved, and much needed, conclusion.
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
