Petition Action

TV Subtitles Correct Interpretation

Additional Information

To have broadcasters of TV programmes ensure that all subtitles that are appearing on the screen are correctly interpreted to enable hearing impaired persons to be able to follow the conversations taking place without miss-interpretation of the spoken content appearing on screen.
I want the government to give Ofcom the powers required to legislate all broadcasters to ensure subtitles are being broadcast correctly in their interpretation of what is being said on the screen
