Communication with disabled children
Get Makaton & BSL on the National Curriculum
Responsible department: Department for Education
there are 770,000 disabled children in England and Wales. The majority of which an alternative form of communication would benefit. Why are we learning foreign languages before learning to communicate with these already isolated children. Makaton in primary BSL in High should be part of the curriculum!!
