Petition Action

Over sexualisation of society

Additional Information

I am becoming more and more concerned by what our society is allowing to be seen on a regular basis, in shops, on radio and television.

The reporting this week on a BBC radio station was excessively descriptive whilst reporting a victim's statement regarding a 'celebrities' alleged crimes.

Front page of ladies mags featuring bold fonts saying things like; 'My Dad R***d me and I had his baby' on the same shelf as children's magazines.

The new Flora advert with unnecessary sexual connotations.

Racey music videos and lyrics.

Please help protect our children's innocence and victims from unnecessary trauma and triggers. We need more legislation and laws limiting use of material before the watershed and at eye level.
