Use A-Level and GCSE grades predicted by teachers and discard the algorithm.
We need the government to scrap these algorithms to give A-Level and GCSE students a much better chance of achieving their true grades rather than those worked out in the government's formula.
A-Level results have been significantly devalued due to the government's algorithm and nearly 40% of students have been downgraded from their teacher predictions due to their school's historical record. This significantly affects working class students and widens the attainment gap.
