Afford UK resident homeless people the same benefits as illegal immigrants
At the expense of the UK govt, transport homeless UK citizens to hotels and make available to them benefits equal to those of illegal immigrants - such as, but not limited to, free accommodation, free meals, free access to medical care (including drug and alcohol support)
The UK govt are doing it now for people breaking the law and entering the country illegally. No problem with that. But let's also do the same for homeless UK citizens that also need similar levels of support, who may have paid into the welfare system, may be a service veteran, may have fallen on hard times etc or may need mental health support that is in short supply within the NHS system.
If the govt can afford to provide services to those breaking the law we can also provide it to others.
