Reconsider assessment methods for students who are taking exams in 2021
Current guidance shows there will be little adaption to GCSE and A Level exams in 2021 to mitigate the impacts of covid-19. How can these students compete with those from previous years who have had a full education? The government needs to construct a proper system to give these students a chance.
All students have lost out on a massive part of their education due to the coronavirus pandemic. This is detrimental, especially for the students who were to take exams in 2020 and those taking them in 2021. After the appaling procedures put into place for the 2020 exams, the very little information for the 2021 exams is not good enough. With thousands of young people already suffering from poor mental health, a big question mark over their future certainly does not help.
