Stop community NHS staff being taxed on millage claims
Ideally NHS staff should have NHS poole cars with an exemption for parking. That way NHS staff workers will not be losing pay whilst carrying out their role. Otherwise the staff should not be taxed for millage and parking expenses whilst out carrying their job role
The NHS staff have continued their essential work throughout the pandemic, and community staff have been visiting women and families in their home environment as well as community clinic settings. They should not be penalised for their work with paying further tax.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Millage claims are already tax free under HMRC rules. You can find out more here:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
