Repeal or Amend the Coronavirus Act 2020
Repeal or Amend the Coronavirus Act so that parents can send children back to school safe in the knowledge that children suspected of having coronavirus will not be removed and taken to a testing facility without a parent being present or explicit parental permission being given.
The Coronavirus Act Schedule 21 gives ‘powers to direct people to a place suitable for screening and assessment’ and specifically states in Section 6 - 2 (b) If a public health officer has grounds to suspect a person is potentially Infectious they may remove the person to a place suitable for screening and assessment.
This is a huge change to our human rights in the UK. The government must amend or repeal the act or at the very least make the general public aware of this change in human rights
