Petition Action

Domestic violence perpetrators to tell people when getting into new relationship

Petition Details

Make domestic violence perpetrators the same as sex offenders how they have to tell the person they are getting involved with. I don’t believe that a person should have to suffer being beaten before they find out that the other person has a past of repeat offences

Additional Information

I believe too many people are a victim to domestic violence by someone that has a repeat past of this. Why should someone be beaten or be a subject of death due to a violent person in a relationship? I think there should be a law that domestic violence perpetrators should have to be open and honest, like a sex offenders has to, before getting into a relationship with that person.
