Petition Action

Make airlines offer refunds when the government advice is non essential travel.

Petition Details

When the government/FCO make a country essential travel only get airlines, like Ryanair, and holiday companies to ensure holiday makers can have Refunds, vouchers or not be charged extra to change flights. Let those who booked before March 16th 2020 get full refunds.

Additional Information

Holiday makers who booked before March 2020 had no idea they could end up loosing 1000’s. Some airlines, including Ryanair, are Still flying to countries that are on the essential travel only list. Insurance becomes invalid, the resorts are empty, shops, restaurants, big Attractions, water parks are all empty. Yet the airlines refuse to swap flights or refund those who booked before we were aware covid existed. The least they could do is give vouchers or not charge for flight changes.
