Extend the 'Eat out to help out' scheme for the remainder of 2020
To encourage people to eat out, help businesses maintain but also give the public a chance to still afford eating out.
The year of 2020 has been a difficult time where people have either been put on furlough or made redundant . This has affected restaurants who had to closed or limit their opening times. The extension will encourage people to eat out more, helping the businesses rebuild and survive. It will also be a good gesture for the public who will still be able to afford a meal at their favourite restaurant.
