Write and enshrine in law a Written UK Constitution

Petition Details

The UK currently has no written constitution or "rule book" by which consecutive governments must abide by in order to ensure an common and widely agreed socio-economic direction. A clear Constitution could help eliminate poor management of the country's finances, assets and social obligations.

Additional Information

At this critical epoch in the UK's national and international political history, as we step away from EU laws, as well as potentially nearing an end to our Monarchic ruling system, it is critical that the UK writes and adheres to a clear, fair and concise UK Constitution.

A rule book that lays out the basic obligations and statute responsibilities of governance in such a way that any ruling party can be held legally reprehensible for any deviation, or willful neglect of its basic terms.
