Make Women's sanitary products tax free
Women's sanitary products are quite pricey for something that is a necessity. Mostly down to the tax that is on it, therefore sanitary products should be made tax free.
Sanitary products should not be seen as a luxury and be taxed because they are a basic necessity like shower gel for example. I, and multiple other women I have spoken to, all agree that sanitary products should nit be taxed.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government have now stated they will abolish VAT on women's sanitary products. This will come into force when the transition period for Britain departure from the EU ends on 31 December, at which point the EU rules controlling VAT rates will cease to apply to the UK.
