Protect Covid-shielded adults by lifting mandatory school attendance
It is recognized that all unnecessary deaths from Covid-19 should be prevented in the UK where possible as a priority. Specifically, high risk adults should not be forced to send their children to school but instead should temporarily be supported to homeschool until a robust vaccine is available.
It is vital that the nations of the UK unite in policies to protect the most vulnerable in society as well as their households. Children do not need the devastation or guilt of losing a parent if they transfer the virus from school to that parent In their daily routine. This is especially The case if the child has only one parent. Families across the UK are expressing concern about this matter on social media leading up to the start of the school term and this must be addressed soon.
