Make LGBT inclusive education mandatory in all secondary schools
We need more lgbtq inclusive education in secondary schools as there would be less bullying for LGBT students in schools and could possibly help mental health of students who are LGBT such as myself, I am transgender and have been bullied for it due to people lack of knowledge about the community
The higher prevalence of mental ill health among members of the LGBT community can be attributed to a range of factors such as discrimination, isolation and homophobia, and this is due to people’s lack of knowledge of the community, so having manditory LGBT inclusive education in secondary schools would reduce mental ill health in young LGBT students

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. This is already in the National Curriculum. You can find out more here:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
