Petition Action

Cancel the switch to daylight savings time

Petition Details

I believe there should be only one universal time. That means no daylight savings switch in autumn and back to summer time in spring.

Additional Information

It is difficult to transition to another time every year, it affects the sleeping patterns and even mental health of some. The days get way shorter and it gets dark very quick, which also takes a negative toll in mental health. Even though days get naturally shorter in winter time, it would be more comfortable to just have the same time frame throughout the year.
