Secondary school students should be able to take laptops instead of books.
Instead of taking books, students should be able to take laptops to stop the spread of Coronavirus. A laptop can be disinfected as a pose to a book. Work can be sent to teachers by email
There should be a rule enforcing that students should have the choice to take laptops instead of books.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
You want students to be able to use laptops instead of books, however you don't specify what you want these laptops to be used for nor what kinds of books the laptops would replace. Government advice on re-opening schools specifies that, while taking books home is allowed, "unnecessary sharing should be avoided". To achieve this, individual schools already have the right to allow the use of laptops in their schools should they wish.
