Allow dance halls to reopen
With dance halls closed organisers can’t run competitions. With no competitions, young dancers lose inspiration to continue. Dance schools are seeing a huge drop in numbers of children. As a chain reaction all the professional competitors, coaches and adjudicators are also affected with no work.
Professional competitors get majority of their income from competition prize money. Achieved titles give them status and work in various schools & dance studios. With no competitions and no children in the dance schools neither Is possible. Also, organisers, adjudicators and coaches can’t earn their living if there are no competitions to organise and adjudicate, and competitors don’t have neither motivation nor money to take lessons and classes. We need Dance Halls to be allowed to reopen!
