Debate the full legalisation of cannabis for Great Britain

Petition Details

We, the undersigned, wish for full legalisation of cannabis.
Cannabis is a plant that has proven medical benefits for otherwise untreatable conditions, and is widely enjoyed by many citizens. A taxable resource that should never have been criminalised.

Additional Information

There are many reasons to legalise cannabis.
1 medical benefits. At the very least it has been proven to ease the suffering of epileptics and sufferers of neuropathic pain. It helps with insomnia, anxiety and ptsd, among other things. Cheap and easily grown, it will ease strain on NHS
2 As a Liberal nation, it is our right to grow harmless plants, and sell our own property. Especially when I can grow a dozen deadly plants in my garden and sell them, with no regulation.
3 It's taxable.
