Ban use of ‘zoom’ by schools wishing to continue lessons on ‘snow days’.
Snow days - the cancellation of school due to small amounts of white precipitation - are a fundamental childhood experience. Use of online education platforms like Zoom, beyond the COVID pandemic, should be frozen immediately to protect this privilege. This situation cannot be allowed to snowball.
Undermining the right to observe snow days would be an attack on civilisation, indeed on humanity itself. It may not be the thin end of the wedge but it is certainly a slippery slope. We expect an avalanche of public support.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Deciding whether it is necessary to close or how to conduct teaching in the event of extreme weather is a decision for individual schools, not the Government or House of Commons.
