Petition Details

Please introduce #SeatOutToHelpOut. Where for every seat sold for a live performance, the government pay £10 for an empty seat.

Our industry is on its knees. This is a real, powerful way to support hundreds of venues, and thousands of us that work in the arts.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure whether you want theatres to be given extra funding, or if you'd like the Government to refund businesses for savings they pass on to the customers, as with the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme.
