Paddy's promise to change the law! And give cats rights!
Make it the law that when you run over a cat you have to stop. You either take them to the nearest vet to have their chip scanned or ring the local council and wait for them to collect and find the owner unless on a motorway or parkway.
My cat was run over outside our house. The driver did not stop which then lead on to me finding our beloved cat dead on the road. My 4 year old followed me out and witnessed his best friend dead on the road. This was a traumatic experience that could have been avoided. Our cat had a stronger bond with my son than our dog did so why shouldn't they have the same rights ?
