Stop clocks going back on Sunday, 25 October 2020

Petition Details

The European Parliament has voted to stop moving clocks forward an hour in spring and back again in the autumn. Politicians passed the measure by 410 votes to 192 - meaning seasonal time shifts, which were introduced during World War One to save energy, will end in 2020

Additional Information

This is an antiquated law for the outdated reasons above. Furthermore and especially in these unprecedented times it interrupts our sleep patterns, reduces our exposure to vitamin C and makes commuting less likely as both sides of the work day are dark - this increases planet pollution.
For once we need our government to make a simple decision for simple reasons. Its not Brexit and its not a referendum, just common sense.
