Petition Action

To provide free vitamin D to all English Citizens.

Petition Details

It would be preferable for the Government to provide free vitamin D to all English Citizens. If not, then at the very least to issue guidance on the importance of vitamin D in immunity, and recommend a daily supplement of at least 25 micrograms.

Additional Information

In the light of previous research, and the results of new studies on the effect of vitamin D in Covid 19 patients, it is time for the Government, at the very least to advise people to take a minimum of 25 micrograms of vitamin D a day. In the interests of public health, it would be preferable for this to be available free to ensure a good compliance with the advice
