More mental health funding, councillors in school, mental wellness curriculum
Increase funding for the mental health services in the UK. Their should be targets for local councils so that local waiting times do not exceed 6 months.Training for GPs so that they are better equipped. Councillors in primary and secondary school. Mental well being as part of the curriculum.
The government should do this to better take care of those in need of mental health services. There is not enough within the curriculum to help kids deal with the increasing mental health impact that technology has in the 21st Century, nor is there anything to teach them how to navigate, and manage their own mental well being. Adults are struggling to maintain jobs because of the similar stresses of 21st century living, further compounded by COVID. This issue has wide economic repercussions.
