Petition Action

Trail hunting should not be exempt from the no more than 6 people gathering.

Petition Details

Trail hunting is not a sport as they are claiming to be and should not be gathering in numbers over 6 people. A sport is between opposing sides where both sides are in agreement to the sport.

Additional Information

Trail hunting where foxes are "accidentally" killed should not be allowed to continue. If they are trail hunting why are hounds running over railway lines and main roads and being killed? This is just an excuse to do what they really are doing and that is to kill foxes. So why is this allowed to continue with the no more than 6 people gathering. I repeat this IS NOT A SPORT!

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

It's not clear if you want trail hunting to be banned, or for it not to be exempt from the rule of six.

We have published petitions making the following requests, which you might like to sign:

Extend "rule of six" to ensure that hunting and shooting are banned: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/551212

Stop Forestry England granting licenses for Fox & Hare hunts: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/552017
