Exclude young children from England Covid 'rule of 6' which restricts gathering
Please exclude young children from the restriction on gatherings, just as in Scotland & Wales where under 12s are exempt.
Many stay-at-home parents will be cut off from support.
This change will have little impact on the transmission rates and is so important for young children & parents.
Families with more than 2 young children risk being unnecessarily isolated, unable to meet another family or even see grandparents.
Young children are low risk with Covid, both in symptoms & transmission.
Young primary-aged children in home education have already lost all their regular schooling groups. And now, those with siblings cannot even meet socially as a family.
Cabinet is divided about the restrictions; many MPs are concerned. Please amend the rule & care for young families.
