Change the COVID-19 “Rule of 6” to not include infants and children
On 14.09.20 the “Rule of 6” is being enforced across England.
My wife and I are part of an antenatal group of 5 couples and as of Monday the mums and babies of the group cannot meet.
We have all had babies during lockdown and the support the group gives us is huge. This will be taken away.
The mums of the group have met weekly since social distancing has allowed, to support each other and help develop the babies social skills.
Without this group, each member would have been without a huge support network and no contact to others going through the same thing.
The dads of the group could theoretically go to the pub, however the mums cannot meet due to them exclusively breastfeeding. We believe this is discriminating against breastfeeding mothers. Please help us change this rule.
