Cross Country must continue to serve Whittlesea, March and Manea train stations!
The Fenland communities of Whittlesea (also known as Whittlesey) March, and Manea rely on public transport for travelling to work & school, as well as shopping & leisure.
In the interests of our community & the economy; please do not allow Cross Country trains to remove our vital train services.
As a disabled Whittlesey resident, without a car, I rely on public transport hugely. It is shocking & appalling that a train company can just remove our vital train services, which so many local people rely on.
I urge the Government to consider the social & economic impact of such cuts; at a time when the Government wants people to go back to work, school, & spend for economic recovery. Please do not cut us off from the cities. There are almost 40,000 people within these communities combined.
