Petition Action

Close Schools/Colleges/Universities Due To The Rise Of Coronavirus Cases.

Petition Details

The government has blamed the youth for the spread of Coronavirus, if this is true, schools and colleges should be closed and online classes should resume. Health is above education.

Additional Information

The Government gave the slogan "Don't kill granny" towards the youth, to stop them from spreading Coronavirus, but the government is 'killing granny' for us. Coronavirus, does not care if the place is a school or workplace, it will spread, and it will kill.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

We already have a petition calling for schools and colleges to be reclosed: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/550846

If you also want the Government to close universities, you could start a new petition requesting this.
