Ban the sale of fireworks to the public in 2020
The lack of public fireworks displays is likely to mean an increase in back garden firework parties, the guests at these parties will increase the danger of Covid-19 transmission.
Members of the public should be banned from home firework use or unauthorised public displays this year because of the increased risk of spreading Covid-19. Retailers should be prevented by law from selling fireworks to the public during this pandemic.
