Exempt young children from England’s Rule of Six Coronavirus Restrictions
Consider the arbitrary nature:
- Aligning across the union
- It being safe for children in schools to exceed 6
- it being acceptable for families to split & meet (e.g. 2 families of 4: 2 visit 2, the other 2 visit the other 2)
- 2 families >6 can’t meet. 6 individuals can (a greater network)
Debate whether these inconsistencies are appropriate, proportionate and reasonable restrictions to enforce on families across England, and consider how to redress the balance to be fair to families.
