Change the way Daily Death Figures are Reported in the Media
We want the government to change the way in which daily death figures are reported to the public. Currently we are only given death figures for Covid 19 to justify restrictions and lockdown. We want the government to make a change in the way that it reports its daily figures to the public
We want the government to stop just telling us about the Covid deaths and include DAILY figures for Suicides, Cancer patients who missed treatment, Domestic abuse victims, Elderly who died early due to being alone in care homes, People who died from stress related illness due to financial loss/bankruptcy, Deaths due to missed treatment during lockdown and Anyone who died of stress/health issues to the restrictions placed on them due to Lockdown imposed on them during the Pandemic

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
You want the media to report data on deaths from other causes alongside data on Covid-19 deaths. This is a matter for individual media outlets, not the UK Government or Parliament.
Given your concerns, you may wish to sign this petition which calls for a public inquiry into the Government's handling of the Covid-19 crisis: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/302576. The petition calls for any such inquiry to look at "what decisions were made around preventing the spread of the coronavirus and protection of the UK population, and how this was balanced with the level of health care services available and effects on the economy".
