Scrap intrusive lockdowns. Use the furlough fund to instead bolster social care.
Use the furlough cash pot to instead fund better regular testing where required to keep business moving. Do not introduce arbitrary lockdowns.
Please discuss at length how this can be achieved and put the options out for a vote from the people.
Lockdowns do not protect the most vulnerable who should be receiving the most care. Bolster care where it is appropriate and allow the rest of the country to go on as normal. We should not be thrown into another economic recession if it can at all be avoided.
Please try to understand that the people are not happy and let them have a voice on what they feel is the best course of action.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly whether you want to furlough funding to be spent on social care or on Covid testing, and we're not sure what you like a public vote on.
