Peter Connolly's Law for Sharon Shoesmith
That a debate should take place in parliament with a view to enacting a law that would remove Sharon Shoesmith's right to receive compensation for unfair dismissal from her job as head of Children's Services at Haringey.
Her failure as detailed in the Ofsted report of December 2008 should not be rewarded with large sums of taxpayers funds. The Ofsted report for her final year as head of Children's Services was damning and should be held as reasonable grounds for immediate removal from her post.
