Petition Action

Change the law to end inequality against unborn babies with Down syndrome

Petition Details

A baby with Down syndrome can currently be aborted right up until birth, that’s 15 weeks later than the 24 week general abortion limit.
Babies aborted during this period could survive outside the womb.

Additional Information

This out of date law that has not been amended for more than thirty years should be reviewed and changed to acknowledge the current advances in medical science and detection to end this bias.

So please, let’s ask everyone we know and everyone we don’t know to sign this petition to bring it before Parliament.
We need to stop this inequality.
