Put the policy for Covid19 UK 20/21 lockdown to public referendum, by Oct 10th.

Petition Details

Allow the UK public to vote on the best method of containing Covid 19 in the UK this winter, with four scenario policy options. The public should be educated on the options & related data in the 10 days prior to a vote, with expert analysis guiding the data. This vote should be made digitally.

Additional Information

The policies adopted by the UK government have a severe effect on the following crucial drivers of UK health & happiness:

- Solidarity & national strength
- Physical health
- Mental health
- Economic/job stability
- Liberty
- Choice
- Negative feedback loops & cultural echo chambers

The current UK government were not voted in with the public knowledge that Whitehall would be making decisions on a pandemic, so these decisions should be handed back to the UK public by way of an informed vote.
