Close schools & colleges down as soon as possible to stop the spread of COVID-19
We would like the Government to consider closing all schools and colleges down in the coming days, in addition to taking other necessary actions to try to prevent the catastrophic outcome we had during the first wave. We would like the Government to act as soon as possible due to the rapidly growing
number of COVID-19 cases nationwide. The pupils are suffering with anxiety in schools and their ability to focus is affected by the rational fear that they could bring the virus home to their families. The Government should be more proactive this time to prevent the tragic situation from happening again. If the schools remain open, that will undoubtedly result in more spread. We hope the Government will act now, otherwise many lives will be lost again as a result of doing too little too late.
