Make Preston the capital city
Make the legendary city with a proud Lancastrian heritage the capital of England.
For many years Preston has been looked down on but no more shall we receive this treatment. All prestonians will unite and receive the respect it deserves.

Petitions need to call on the Government to take a specific action, and it's not clear exactly what you want the Government to do.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to move central Government departments and the UK Parliament, which is what normally determines which city is regarded as a country's capital, to Preston, if that is what you want to happen.
