I would like the Government to pay £500 to every worker that does not receive full pay whilst having to self-isolate, regardless of income. This should cover employees and the self-employed

Additional Information

Many tax paying workers will be in severe financial hardship without help. It is not fair that additional support has only been made available to benefit claimants.

Millions of workers who may be required to self-isolate have families to support and mortgages/rents to pay, and have been paying taxes while working. The least the Government can do is help them when they genuinely need it.

£500 could be the difference between self-isolating or not, for some who don't have savings to fall back on.
