KEEP BRITISH SUMMER TIME BY NOT CHANGING THE CLOCKS THIS OCTOBER
SUSPEND FOR THIS TIME AT LEAST THE PRACTICE OF PUTTING CLOCKS BACK IN OCTOBER.
BECAUSE OF COVID 19,THIS WINTER IS GOING TO BE DIFFICULT FOR MANY PEOPLE. FOR MOST PEOPLE THE CHANGE TO WINTER TIME SEEMS TO SUDDENLY MAKE THE DAYS SHORTER. THIS CAN BE DEPRESSING, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE HAVING TO ISOLATE. ALSO IT IS SAFER FOR CHILDREN TO TRAVEL TO SCHOOL IN THE DARK, WHEN ANY NON ARRIVAL WILL BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS, THAN TRAVELLING TO A POSSIBLY EMPTY HOME WHEN BOTH PARENTS ARE WORKING, ESPECIALLY IF THE PARENTS ARE FRONT LINE NHS STAFF DOING UNSOCIAL HOURS
