Allow visitation at all care homes in England for close family or friends
Allow a set number of people to visit care homes to see relatives or close friends, either inside or outside.
There are people in care homes around the country that won’t have had any visitors since March or April. They don’t all understand that a pandemic is happening and can be lonely, feel abandoned and confused, and perhaps don’t even remember who their family are anymore. Relatives/friends are missing out on months of time with these people, and it might be the last chance they have.
